Postman Review

App puts a social networking twist on electronic postcards

Anyone can snap a picture of the trip to the beach with a camera phone and e-mail it to the parents just for kicks. But you want to stand out, be fun and different. Postman from Freeverse Software lets you create a unique postcard on your iPhone to send home to the loved ones and show them you really care.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

Never buy a stamp again

This app doesn't really do a whole heap more than send an email with an image in it, but the option to add text and a frame make the finished email look a lot more like a real postcard.Text is easy to apply and style, although it would be nice if you could scale/move the image around in it's frame. There is also a nice touch in that you can send an image of a google map, showing exactly where you are.Having played with 'Postage' as well, I personally prefer this app (the 'postcard' feel of the finished email is better with 'Postman, and the ways to share are much better as well - Twitter, Facebook, email etc), but for the price of Mars Bar, you're not going to bankrupt yourself if you own both.

Update is awesome!

This app is great! It is a lot of fun to use. Whether you want to share a concert memory with friends or a vacation with family it is great. It is also a great way to tell someone you love them. It is worth paying for! Enjoy it!
