We are making WiFiGet the ultimate tool for WiFi users to find and connect to a WiFi network. It is a powerful WiFi Scanner, plus Hotspot Finder and is the ONLY FREE iPhone app with the following features:
✧ WiFi Finding - Simple, Powerful
* Scan and discover more WiFi Networks than you can image.
* Sort networks based on Signal Strength for you to choose
* One touch to connect
* Remember WiFi keys for WEP/WPA/WPA2 networks
* Show detailed network information such as WiFi Channel, RSSI, BSSID, security, IP/Netmask, Gateway...
✧ Hotspot Search - Easy, Flexible
* Over 100,000 locations world wide
* Easy to use search options: search by current location , address, and city
* Offline search capability
* Database is updated on a daily basis
✧ Community Collaboration - Sharing, Growing
* Users discover and share new locations
* Users report changes on existing hotspots
WiFiGet scans and shows WiFi Networks at your location. It can display more available networks than iPhone's native Wi-Fi function. If a network is available to you, you can make connection through WiFiGet.
WiFiGet also allows you to search WiFiGet Hotspot Directory for Free/Paid hotspots nearby or near a given address. This directory is updated every day based on our user's inputs. If you discover a hotspot that is not in the directory, you can also contribute to the directory by submitting the new location to our server through the 'GeoTag' function. We will add the new location into our directory and share with other WiFiGet users. By saving the search results into the offline database, you can use the data when you are offline, a great feature for iPod users.
If you want to have all hotspot locations pre-installed in the offline database on your iPhone/iPod, so you don't have to create it manually, you can try our "WiFiGet Plus" app(search 'wifiget plus' in AppStore).
Since the release of WiFiGet, a lot of WiFiGet users have discovered and contributed many new hotspots to our servers. Many thanks to our users for making WiFiGet better!
If you have any questions or suggestions, please send email to wifiget@witagg.com. We appreciate and welcome any feedback.
Note:
You do need to connect to Internet to access the WifiGet database. For iPod touch users, you may want to create the offline list first. If you want to have full 'Offline Search' capability, please download our 'WiFiGet Plus' version.
