Image editing app is fast and fun, but limited

The very idea of Photoshop on the iPhone seems almost too high concept. However, considering that the iPhone already hosts an impressive array of image editors—used to quickly fix pictures taken with its low-resolution camera for e-mail or upload to social networking or photo Web sites—news of competition from the sovereign of image editors can't help but raise expectations. The good part about Adobe’s new Photoshop.com Mobile app is that it’s free, easy, intuitive, fast, fun, and does what it says it will do. The bad part is that it doesn’t do that much.

Some nice tools

Like the early versions of Photoshop I think it will improve with time, but what it does, it does well. I like the app and for free the price is right.

Reminds Me of Photoshop 2.5

Photoshop.com Mobile has a basic set of easy to use features. Adobe makes good use of the iPhone interface to implement filters like exposure, saturation, tint and focus that allow one to edit photos anywhere. Some users will be disappointed with the limitations, but I wouldn't expect Adobe to implement layers, a history palette or other advanced features on an iPhone. Sharpen would be nice as would a basic histogram for levels. Reminds me of Photoshop 2.5 for the Mac back in the day. Except Photoshop 2.5 could scan with TWAIN compliant devices. iPhone adapter for scanners anyone?

AWESOME!!!!!

This is a great app if you have a Photoshop account. Easy to take pics and edit them, create effects and then upload them for all your friends to see! One of the better apps I have on my iPhone!

Useful app

Definitely a useful and usable app, and the price point is right. There are other apps that are more feature-rich, but this one gets some use on my iPhone.
