The concept behind Snatch is simple—Hoofien’s app turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a trackpad and remote keyboard that controls your computer over a network. It’s quickly become one of my most used iPhone apps.
The interface isn't so pretty, but it's functionality if the best. I use it daily.
Great remote for Plex HTPC
I got this to use for my HTPC running the Plex software. A user of this app made a custom skin for Plex and it's awesome! The first page of the remote has all the normal "DVD" commands, and the second page has a bunch of shortcuts to movies, tv, etc. If you are running Plex, I highly recommend this app.
Remote control, Keyboard, and Trackpad...All in One
I have been using this app since it's humble beginnings, and have really watched it grow. Mostly use it as a remote control for Plex media center, but its keyboard and trackpad features really make it useful. Say you're using it to control your HTPC and are watching a movie, and suddenly remember an eBay auction that you're following. No Problem! Just pause the movie and flip over to your browser and check it out. Need to google some information? The pop-up full function keyboard makes it easy. The best new feature of the remote is to be able to create custom remote controls for your favorite apps, and share your creations with others. Not graphically talented? Others are, and you can download their creations for free on the Snatch website. I find this app very stable, and there is no lag between sending the commands and the response. Worth every penny. The only app I've bought that I use every day.
