We are sorry about the issue with update from earlier versions to 1.2.3. The fix is already submitted to Apple.
In the meantime, you can fix this issue without waiting for the update. Please follow these steps: 1. Copy your notes to your computer over Wi-Fi. You can find detailed connection instructions for your operating system by tapping "?" button at the "Wi-Fi Access" tab. 2. Reinstall Take A Note on your iPhone. 3. Copy your notes back from your computer to your iPhone.
New users are not affected by this bug.
