Billable mileage tracker is solid, but has some interface zigs and zags
If you spend a lot of time in the car for business reasons, then you’re probably familiar with (and at least mildly annoyed by) the need to track your mileage for tax purposes. This used to require an arduous and painstaking process of logging your information in some sort of notebook (or, for the less organized, discarded receipts, envelope backs, and scrap paper) so that when tax time rolls around, you can enter all that information into your return.
I've been using Trip Cubby for some time now and it's a great application. It has all the features I need. Furthermore, its user interface is very well thought out and easy to work with. You can store information on frequent trips for very quick entry. When entering information on a new trip, it will list prior entires from which you can choose if you like, again speeding up entry. Transferring data to your computer is quick and easy, and there is even an online sync available so you can backup you data whenever you want. I'm very satisfied with Trip Cubby.
