App delivers TV schedule to your mobile device

Here’s the simple, if improbable premise behind What’s On?: You’re meeting with an important client, say, or you are attending a friend’s wedding when suddenly the thought hits you: Holy Toledo! Isn’t it 15 minutes to SpongeBob?

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

Better than the paper

Great App for identifying what is on the TV stations in your area. Easy and fast set up. Even allowed me to choose the movie theaters nearby. Automatically recognized the cable provider options in my zip code. Allowed me to unselect which stations that I do not want (Shopping Channels etc). Can touch to see which episode is playing and has a favorites list. Everything I was looking for in a TV guide app.

Fast, easy, complete...

This app is the best way I've found anywhere to see what's on the channels I watch. It loads fast, doesn't drop connections, lets you customize your listings in any order you like, keeps track of your favorite shows, and all with a very intuitive interface. The only reason I didn't give this app 5 stars is because it is VERY confusing to set up--and I still haven't figured out how to delete a location that I really messed up in setting up. Once they either figure out a way to give clearer instructions or a more intuitive interface for the set up, 5 stars it will deserve.

Great TV Scheduling App

Downloaded this about 3 months ago and love it. I was out of town didn't know any of the channels in the area and this app gave me everything I wanted to continue viewing just like at home. Gives you schedules for cable, satellite, etc. I can select my favorite shows and only preview them or I can browse all the channels available. Gives the name of the show with a little synopsis. If it's a series it will show current and future schedules. Only thing it doesn't do that I'd like to see is that first airing date so I can tell if old or new. All this and it's FREE!
