App streams terrestrial radio to your iPhone or iPod touch
The original iPhone and iPod touch were terrific devices for playing music you’d placed on them. With the advent of the App Store, they’re now capable of playing music streamed from such online music services as Pandora, Last.fm, and AOL. But what about terrestrial radio? Weather Underground’s WunderRadio has you covered.
Great app, works as designed, very little buffering delay, great search capabilities for worldwide locations as well as genre etc. Although it is missing a dance genre, but does have electronic. I don't find it missing any stations in the geographic regions in the U.S. I'm familiar with, includes them all! I love listening to stations in my old home towns of Houston, Atlanta, Denver, etc. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
Great App!
This app does what it says - it allows me to tune in almost any radio station in the world. I wonder if this is the end for shortwave radio? I can follow my teams when I am away from home, and still get the announcers I am used to. I can listen to the BBC and Deutsche Welle to get a different perspective on the news. Highly Recommended!
