Privacy features make this location-aware social networking app compelling

Being two-faced may not be an admirable quality in a person, but in a location-based social networking app, it can be a beautiful thing. After all, while there are some things you don’t mind declaring to the world at large, there are other things you probably want to announce to a select few.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

A weird way to throw your status up on a digital billboard

Is this app a social network? Sort of. Is it a GPS app? Sort of. Is it a photo app? Yes, but there are much better ones out there. If you can get several friends to use it on a regular basis it would be more compelling than it is. The info it shows for your location is obscure, even for a locals. I have lived here for 39 years, and I have never heard of any of the places it says I'm standing in. Even in large cities it does not work properly.
