Faithful recreation of game show suffers from a recurring series of interruptions

Many TV game shows—Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants to be a Millionaire—have made the leap from the small screen to the smaller-still iPhone screen. The Price Is Right, a $5 game from Ludia, looks good and sports great audio, but suffers from a recurring series of interruptions that detract mightily from the fun.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

Great Look Great Game, Bad controls.

This game is great. I love the way it looks and feels but it does not take use of the new iPhone OS 3.0. It also does not have good controls but the company says that it is working on an up date but it will take some time. This update WILL take some time as I am an app developer to. (But I am NOT a game developer)

Like a sick day from school...

Playing this game brings me back to being sick on the couch and watching the Price is Right. The novelty is there and it hasn't worn off. They set the game up with you starting from contestants row bidding and you work your way all the way to the showcase showdown. They use a 3 strike system to count as one turn. Some of the Price is Right betting games made it and the quality of their presentation is done perfectly. The touch controls could use a lil help in that department but come on, you're playing a Game show not halo. If you loved the real show you won't be disappointed with this app.

Awesome game if you love The Price is Right

This game is extremely fun and hilarious. I love the product videos and announcer's voice. The only issue thing that needs work is the touch sensitivity but other than that it's great fun and worth the $5!
