Solid weather app provides frequent updates to current conditions and forecasts
In its infancy, The Weather Channel was little more than a punchline for jokes about the paucity of decent cable TV channels. These days, though, it’s a powerful brand. And its self-titled application for the iPhone and iPod touch is a welcome entré into a crowded field of weather-related App Store offerings as The Weather Channel proves to be good at what it does.

A leader in weather apps!
The Weather Channel easily met my expectations with its "current conditions page," the hourly forecast, 36-hour forecast, and 10-day forecast, radar, and video content. It has been very accurate with its predictions. I only wish for future radar, which is a stand-out feature in the full version (a ridiculous $3.99). In my opinion, unless you're DESPARATE for future radar, stick with the free version or ask for a gift card for Christmas! And if you're willing to spend $.99, WeatherBug Elite is a nicely done weather app with a full set of features!
Great, free weather App!
This app has nice features like a playable radar map showing current activity in your area.
Much Better
This app gets better with every free update. The ads are small and they do not bother me. This is a great replacement of the stock Yahoo weather. You can view a live doppler and also see hour by hour and a 36 hour look.
