iPhone weather’s forecast is mostly cloudy
As much as people make fun of me for turning to my iPhone for the weather (“why don’t you just look outside?”), it’s helped me avoid any number of climate-related mishaps. Wearing jeans in 95° heat, for example. Or remembering to bring a raincoat to the baseball game. But for those interested in the finer details of meterology, the built-in Weather app sometimes falls a bit short.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:
Ugly and not very useful
This app looks like a bug! There is no radar, and the biggest feature on the screen is the wind direction and speed. Maybe its good for pilots. The webcam photos can be had in better apps, though the localization of the weather stations is nice.
Great free weather App
This weather app lets you store different cities so you can keep track of as many places as you want. For those of you in hot climates, it tells you the temperature and the heat index so you know what it really feels like outside. It shows any alerts for your area like ozone, flooding etc...It also shows you the weather radar so you can track the storms in your area. It has a small ad banner at the bottom which doesn't bother me at all. If it does get to you they have the elite app for only 99 cents.
