Wireless network finder offers some advantages over iPhone’s built-in capabilities

WifiTrak, a $1 app from Bitrino, finds available wireless connections. It’s meant to serve as a more feature-rich replacement for the built-in wireless detection found on the iPhone’s Settings screen, and it works as advertised. The only question you’ll need to answer is: Do you have the need WifiTrak aims to fulfill?

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

WifiTrak

As adults we learn that in life there are wants and there are needs. The trendy items we want today will be either in the trash or the back of the closet tomorrow. e.g. that tread mill you just couldn't live without that is now a $1,500 dirty clothes hanger. My point...I have been through many apps some free, some I have paid for. In the end the apps which stay on my device are those I truly need and WifiTrack is one I couldn't live without. This app is truly a "need" capable of not only finding but actually connecting to Wifi connections the base finder doesn't register are available at all.

Gets me connected when Apple doesn't

I am not yet sure why, but when I have trouble connecting on my home network, and Apple's "settings" doesn't even show my home network, WiFiTrak not only shows my network, but gets me connected when Apple doesn't.
