My recent round-up of the best of the basic to-do apps for iPhone and iPod touch, which focused on simple apps for tracking lists of tasks, omitted Robert Kieffer’s free Zenbe Lists 1.2. Also a basic to-do tracker, Zenbe Lists has two features that set it apart from those other apps: online syncing and sharing.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

Eloquent and functional

This comes close to being a perfect app. It tracks all of your to-do items and syncs with an online version. It's actually a joy to rapidly create online lists (the Web site is as intuitive as the iPhone app), then quickly sync data to the iphone. The sync works equally well in reverse -- as soon as I added features to the iphone and hit "sync," the information appeared in my Web browser. It's limited in certain ways; for example, it would be nice to be able to create sub-lists. For example, if I list the stores I need to go to on a Saturday for errands, I can't make a sub-list of the items needed at those stores. This is nitpicking, however, and the app serves it's purpose beautifully.
