I dumped Twitteriffic, and never looked back.

Excellent user interface, has a retweet button, and does what it should do. I have experienced "cannot connect too secure server" errors over multiple wi-fi networks lately, but that may be it's version of the "Fail Whale" Twitter error. I use this app WAY too much. Addicting. Be warned.
