Instant messenger application is solid, lacks frills

One of the most frequently voiced complaints about the iPhone since its introduction last year has been a lack of instant messaging support. There are plenty of workarounds, to be sure, but they ranged from potentially expensive (like using the iPhone’s SMS system) to slow (web-based applications) to illicit (clients that ran on jailbroken phones).

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

Improving App

Instant messaging is a must for me, so this is one of the first apps I downloaded for my iPhone. The first version of the app was pretty good, but had some disappointments. The updates for this app have all really improved its performance and now with push notification it is even better.
