Weather forecaster boasts elegant design, but ultimately lacks depth
Most people don’t expect much of the person delivering the weather report— timeliness, a peek beyond the obvious, and of course, a fairly accurate prediction of what’s soon to come. AccuWeather.com, the iPhone and iPod touch offering from the granddaddy of weather forecasters, is timely and appears as accurate as the other top weather apps for Apple’s mobile devices. It also sports a clean, intuitive interface and an elegant design that’s easy on the eyes.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:
best weather app for iPhone
you can access more hours or more days on the appropriate screen by just flick left and right. This app is beautiful and gives way more detail than any other app (like hourly precipitation amounts). I love it!
Enjoyable Weather App
AccuWeather brings a large amount of weather information to your finger tips. Although sometimes a little choppy (on account of the radar and TV data), this App overall does an excellent job of keeping you (hopefully) correctly apprised of the weather situation around you.
Slow
This app provides attractive weather data, and a host of other indicies ranging from how good the weather is for walking your dog, to how likely you are to getting a round of golf in (remarkably similar conditions, those). It updates slowly and I find Who Is Hot to be more accurate.
best weather app so far
AccuWeather is far superior to the standard weather app, with features like hourly predictions, links to videos of local forecasts and radar. It also alerts the user to the severity of risks of thunderstorms, rain, snow and other hazardous weather. While I haven't found another app this versatile, it stops just short of being perfect. The primary problem is it's a bit buggy -- adding and removing multiple locations can sometimes make the app crash. And it would be nice to more fully integrate it with the iPhone's full range of features, including landscape mode.
Great weather app
