Get sports radio stations from around the country streaming to your phone

Sports Radio for the iPhone puts your favorite sports radio station in your pocket. The $2 app from Intersect World features local, national and even several international sports radio stations. The program harnesses readily available live streams over the Internet in a very simple application. Still, while Sports Radio is straightforward to use, the application can be frustrating at times.

Macworld user reviews IN DETAIL:

Now with Many ESPN stations!

Just downloaded the app and found all my favorite stations. Unlike the article mentions, apparently now many "local" ESPN stations are available. Also the directories are updated "dynamically" without having to download an update: a nice feature.

No worth $2

The bottom line is the price. There several apps that provide the same service that are free. I have founded that Stitcher and Radio offer a very similar service. Yes the social network is a nice component but is it worth $2. I say no.
