Barcode Producer 1.0 debuts

If you're interested in leveraging your Macs to help you with inventory processing or other procedures where barcodes can come in handy, check out Intelli Innovations. The company today announced the release of Barcode Producer 1.0 for the Mac.

Barcode Producer generates high-resolution and customizable barcodes in one of 9 different formats. The finished image can then be exported as a picture or an EPS file for further manipulation.

Features of Barcode Producer 1.0 include:

  • Intuitive, form-based interface designed for efficient barcode creation.
  • Support for EAN-8, EAN-13, ISBN, UPC-A, UPC-E, ITF Variable, ITF-14, Code 39, and Code 128 symbologies.
  • Support for instant high-resolution graphical exports of any finished barcode.
  • Integrated EPS export for printing or use within Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress, or other desktop publishing/graphics applications.
  • Drag-and-drop functionality allows the user to drop finished barcodes in any publishing or word processing application.
  • Built-in barcode printing and custom page setup capabilities.
  • Fine-tuning controls for each barcode type, including size factor, resolution, truncation, and transparency.
  • Barcode Producer 1.0 was developed using Real Software's REALbasic programming environment. The software works with any PowerPC-based Mac running Mac OS 8.6 or later with CarbonLib 1.1 or greater; it also runs natively in Mac OS X 10.1.
