Contour ShuttlePRO OS X drivers done

ShuttlePRO
After a period of public beta testing, Contour Design has finished its Mac OS X drivers for the ShuttlePRO Multimedia Controller. Updated drivers and a new driver installation for Mac OS X is now available for download from Contour's Web site.

The ShuttlePRO Multimedia Controller has been developed to provide users with a shuttle-and-jog controller for applications like Final Cut Pro, iMovie, QuickTime and others. It provides analog editing-style control to digital video and audio editing applications.

The device incorporates 13 programmable buttons and a rubberized shuttle ring. It sports the ability to define specific settings for applications. Compatible with Mac OS 8.6 or later (including, obviously, Mac OS X), the ShuttlePRO Multimedia Controller incorporates a USB interface. It measures 7.75 by 4.25 by 1.25 inches. Contour Design sells the ShuttlePRO Multimedia Controller for US$125. It's available through resellers and the Contour Store.

"We are pleased to announce our ShuttlePRO drivers for OS X are complete," said a statement posted to the company's Web site. "We are grateful for the feedback we received from our customers while testing our beta versions. We are constantly improving our products, and hope you will continue sharing your feedback and opinions with us."
