Microspot announces MacDraft 5.5

Microspot Ltd. on Friday announced the next major revision to the company's 2D CAD software application, MacDraft. While the company lists the product as being available soon, no specific release date was available.

MacDraft 5.5 has been developed for Mac OS X and features Quartz Graphics; the addition of Import Picture which allows the import of PICT, TIFF, GIF, JPEG/JFIF and Windows BMP formats; the ability to use the resize palette with pixel maps and paragraph text; and 100 levels of Undo.

Microspot is offering discounted prices on MacDraft 5.1 until the new version is released. When MacDraft 5.5 becomes available users who purchased version 5.1 during the summer special can upgrade for free. More information on pricing is available from the Microspot Web site.
