E-Book Systems Inc. on Monday announced the release of the Mac FlipAlbum 3 Suite and Mac FlipAlbum 3 Pro. The software enables Mac users to create digital photo albums and product catalogs using E-Book Systems' 3D page-flipping interface.
Available in box (US$39.95) and downloadable ($34.95) versions, Mac FlipAlbum 3 enables you to create an album by opening a folder of photos. The resulting album contains thumbnails, a table of contents and index. You have can preview images in full-screen mode, insert or delete individual pages, create themes, annotate translucent text and much more. FlipAlbum 3 supports MP3 playlists and works with image and audio formats including .GIF, .PNG, .JPG, .BMP, .MID, .MP3 and .WAV files.
Mac FlipAlbum 3 Suite adds the ability to export content to CDs, and costs $59.95. Another related product, Flipalbum 3 Pro, is expected to be released in September. This $149.95 product adds encryption and CD access control features intended for business use.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.1.3, G3/450MHz or faster; 35MB hard disk space; 256MB RAM; mouse and CD-ROM.
