Microsoft has released Remote Desktop Client v1.0.2 for Mac. The new version is ready for download from the Microsoft BU Web site.
Remote Desktop is Windows-based technology that enables users or administrators to connect to other computers, accessing everything that's available on the remote computer's desktop. The software is dependent on having Windows-based systems available, though this Remote Desktop Client for Mac enables those Windows based systems to access a Mac OS X system on the same network.
Version 1.0.2, released late last week, improves stability for Power Mac G5-based systems. Stability has also been improved for users of Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther."
