Kent, England-based software maker Microspot Ltd. has released the download version of Interiors 3.4 for Mac OS X, a new version of their 3D design application that lets users visualize interior designs. It's aimed at home users, graphics professionals and businesses with a need to create 3D interior designs.
Interiors can help users redecorate, renovate and more, by drawing rooms with windows and doors, adding furniture, wallpaper, carpets and accessories. The object library includes hundreds of items, and the size and color of furnishings can be adjusted. You can also supply your own. Once the basic layout is complete, you can add lighting and render with anti-aliasing and shadows to create realistic 3D scenery.
Microspot explained that the download version of Interiors includes the application and a basic set of Furniture Libraries. Users also gain access to an Interior User Area online that enables them to download other Furniture Libraries divided into groups; they can be downloaded as needed. The Interior User Area will also include a Library of the Month and guides to help users set up their virtual rooms.
The boxed version of Interiors costs US$116.10, but the downloadable version is available with a 10 percent discount.
