Apple has released its security updates for its Mac OS X v10.2 "Jaguar" and Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" operating systems. Both updates are available for download through the Software Update system preference pane. Alternately, you can also download them through the Downloads section of Apple's Web site.
Security Update 2004-04-05 for Panther makes changes to CUPS Printing, libxml2, Mail and OpenSSL. It measures 3.7MB and supports English and a number of foreign languages. The software requires mac OS X v10.3.3 and works with either the client or server versions of Panther.
Security Update 2004-04-05 for Jaguar updates CUPS Printing as well. Changes introduced with the previous security update offered on January 26 have also been incorporated -- including updates to AFP Server, Apache 1.3, cd9660.util, Classic, Directory Services, fetchmail, fs_usage and Mail. The update requires Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later and works with both client and server versions of Jaguar.
