BusinessWeek columnist Alex Salkever has written an apology to Apple CEO Steve Jobs in this week's "Byte of the Apple" online column. Salkever wrote in January that the just introduced "iPod mini was too pricey … and destined to flop in much the same manner as the ill-fated G3 Cube." Salkever received an email from Jobs asking that if his assumption of a mini flop proved incorrect would he publish an apology. "Well, the mini is not a flop. In fact, it's a hit. I can't deny it. So, here's my apology, Steve. The mini is no Cube. I was wrong, and you were right."
