The SIGGRAPH trade show is happening in Los Angeles this week, and there's a veritable avalanche of Macintosh news from the show. Apple released Motion and Production Suite, Luxology introduced Modo, Kodak showed off its new 3D display system and Sharp did the same. Alias shipped Maya Unlimited for Mac OS X and released Maya 6 Personal Learning Edition. Immersion's MicroScribe G2 now works with Maya on Mac as well. @Last has posted a preview of SketchUp 4 Film & Stage. Imagineer is bringing Monet and Mokey to OS X, and the OpenGL 2.0 spec has been announced. Form.Z 4.5 is coming and Motionbuilder 6 is on the way from Kaydara and Alias.
