Rogue Amoeba on Monday released Audio Hijack v2.2, a new version of its audio recording software for the Macintosh. The new version adds an AIFF sample rate selector, a "Stop Recording After" setting, two new post-processing scripts and several other features. Minor bug fixes have also been made, including better handling of RealPlayer-related files and more.
Audio Hijack enables you to record audio from almost any application on your Mac to an Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF) file, which can then be burned to a CD, played in software players like iTunes, or on hardware devices like iPods. Audio Hijack 2.2 is a free update for registered owners. Others can buy it for US$16.
