Hendrickson Software Components on Wednesday announced the release of SpamX for Mac and Linux. The spam source tracing and reporting software was previously available for Windows. SpamX enables you to figure out where the spam in your e-mail inbox is coming from and helps you report the problem to the offender's Internet Service Provider (ISP). SpamX works with any e-mail client that can retrieve full Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) headers. SpamX costs US$19.95 for a client edition; a server edition is also available for $399.95.
