Meeting Maker 8.5 adds Outlook integration, more

Meeting Maker Inc. on Tuesday released Meeting Maker Millennium 8.5, an update to its calendaring tool that features add-on modules for Microsoft Outlook connectivity as well as better LDAP integration. The former enables Meeting Maker users to exchange meeting invitations with Outlook users while the latter simplifies account management by creating central user authentication.

This upgrade also offers two other modules: an HTML client for accessing personal and group calendars with a standard Web browser and an Intellisync module that syncs Meeting Maker calendars to various mobile devices. Pricing for Meeting Maker Millennium 8.5 start at US$95 per user, plus server and maintenance fees. The new modules are available for extra cost; contact Meeting Maker for more information. On the server side, Mac OS X v10.2, a G3 processor, 256MB RAM (512MB recommended) and 100MB of hard drive space (plus 1MB per user) are required, while the client needs Mac OS X v10.1, 8MB RAM and 10MB free hard drive space. Internet Explorer 5, Safari and Firefox 1.0 are the supported Web browsers.
