Stalker Software Inc. on Monday announced that the forthcoming 5.0 update to its communication server software Communigate Pro will integrate support for Microsoft's Mac e-mail and Personal Information Management (PIM) client Entourage. Communigate Pro supports real-time communications including instant messaging, Voice over IP, video conferencing, whiteboarding and more.
Communigate Pro gives enterprises a framework for supporting e-mail, contact management, shared folders, calendaring and group scheduling; full Entourage support means users can gain these abilities without sacrificing the use of the client software they're already familiar with. A Communigate Pro MAPI connector enables Entourage to connect to the same groupware and messaging capabilities as their Windows counterparts who use Outlook.
