MWSF: Intelli bundles barcode reader, four apps

Intelli Innovations has unveiled IntelliScanner Express, a bundle that contains an IntelliScanner Express USB 2.0 or Bluetooth barcode reader and the company's Wine Collector, Media Collector, Auction Automator and Home Assets software. All four applications feature a variety of ways to scan, organize and browse wine, book, movie, CD, game and other collections.

Auction Automator grabs detailed information and artwork for each item you scan, enabling you to post online auction or retail listings faster, while Home Assets allows you to keep track of valuables with the 50 asset tags included in the IntelliScanner Express package. Home Assets can also generate depreciation and market value reports.

IntelliScanner Express with the USB reader is US$249 while the version with the Bluetooh reader is $349 -- during Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco, all customers at the Intelli Innovations and at the company's Web site can save $20 off either bundle. Both readers work with Mac OS X v10.2 or higher; the Bluetooth version works on three AAA batteries and can hold 500 barcodes in its memory per session.
