Luxology LLC has announced the release of modo 102, a new version of its 3D modeling software. The new release sports more than 100 changes, including new tools like UV sew and edge length data utilities; support for the LUA scripting language; UV to EPS export; auto-quad, which generates a quadrangular polygon from three vertices, new Alias Maya data support and much more.
Modo 102 is available as a free update for Mac OS X and Windows users. It carries a suggested retail price of US$895. System requirements call for a G3 or faster, Mac OS X v10.2.8, 512MB RAM, 100MB hard drive space, OpenGL-enabled graphics card, DVD-ROM.
