The Apple Developer Connection has published " Providing Application Access to SQL Data in Apple Remote Desktop 2, a new article that helps system administrators, application developers and others understand how to manipulate the data kept in Apple Remote Desktop 2.
Remote Desktop 2 is Apple's desktop management solution for networks. It allows administrators to distribute software, configure systems, perform real-time help, and audit systems. It keeps track of the systems it's being used on through a PostgreSQL database. The new article on Apple's Web site shows you how to gain access to those database contents and use those results in other applications.
