FileMaker Developer Conference planned for August

Apple subsidiary FileMaker Inc. on Wednesday announced that registration is now open for the FileMaker Developer Conference. The tenth annual conference takes place from Aug. 28 - Sept. 1, 2005 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.

The FileMaker Developer Conference will include more than 40 sessions, as well as a product showcase featuring third-party solutions, meetings with FileMaker engineers, product managers and tech support team members, the second annual FileMaker database competition, the FileMaker Excellence Awards and more. FileMaker President Dominique Goupil will give opening keynote session.

Conference sessions planned for this year's event include Building Dynamic Web Sites With PHP and FileMaker Pro; Security Nuts & Bolts; Integrating FileMaker with Windows Office Applications: Where to Start?; Advanced FileMaker Techniques; Ensure Data Integrity with Database Transactions in FileMaker Pro 7; Performance Optimization in FileMaker 7; Publishing Complex Documents Using XML; Building a Custom Web Publishing Application from Scratch: a FileMaker- Based Weblog; Vertical Marketing - Building a Revenue Stream; Building a Reusable FileMaker Solution; and Before and After: From Fat to Fit with FileMaker Pro 7.
