Swift 3D LW 3.0 adds new vector rendering features

Electric Rain Inc. on Monday announced the release of Swift 3D LW 3.0, a new version of its plug-in for Newtek's LightWave 3D software. The software enables LightWave 3D users to render 3D scenes to the SWF file format, as well s AI, EPS, SVG and PNT. New features in Swift 3D LW 3.0 include increased vector rendering speed, artistic pen styles, per-object rendering, improved transparency and more realistic shadows. Swift 3D LW 3.0 is Mac OS X and Windows-compatible and works with LightWave 3D v7.0 and up. The plug-in costs US$295; upgrades cost $149.
