Provo, Utah-based Cartel Games plans to release a Mac OS X version of Mythic Blades, a 3D fighting game originally developed by Vermillion Games. Mythic Blades is coming to the Mac this fall, according to Cartel creative director Eric Petersen.
Mythic Blades puts you in the role of a hero or monster from Greek legend, to determine the fate of Olympus. You can play as one of 12 different legendary characters incuding Perseus, Jason and Medusa, fighting in one of ten different 3D arenas. Four skill levels test your ability. The game also features single player and player versus player combat.
The Mac version of Mythic Blades is being developed by Vermillion Games, the title’s original developer. Mythic Blades’ minimum system requirements will be a G3 or faster Mac with Mac OS X v10.2 or later.
