'Arty' custom iPod covers debut from Wrappers

Wrappers is now offering Arty, a customized iPod cover making service. You can have your own custom cover created for your iPod starting at £32.00 including postage.

You e-mail Wrappers your digital picture, and they’ll quote you a price for creating a custom cover along with an artist’s impression of how the cover will look. You have seven days once Wrappers sends you the information to approve the design. Wrappers uses a tapestry panel and high-density stitching they describe as similar to upholstery fabric — each stitch pattern is made up of around 20 - 30,000 individual stitches, created from Gutermann embroidery threads.
