Freeverse Software on Monday announced its sponsorship of “ The OMG Cup,” a Mac game programming contest to be held by iDevGames.com.
OMG stands for Original Mac Games, and the new contest is to reward game developers who create their products specifically for the Mac platform. Entrants must register by November 28, 2005, and public voting will begin on December 1, 2005. The top six qualified games will be judged, and the first place winner gets the trophy, $300, and a contract with Freeverse Software to turn their winning entry into a finished product.
