MYOB Ltd. has announced that its U.S. operations have been sold to Acclivity LLC, a group owned by members of the MYOB US Inc. management team. Acclivity will act as the exclusive US republisher of MYOB products and services effective December 5, 2005, according to a statement.
MYOB makes small business accounting software for Mac and Windows computers. Their products include FirstEdge, AccountEdge 2005 and AccountEdge Network Edition 2005.
Acclivity said it plans to deliver the same level of service and support that MYOB customers are accustomed to, while it plans to grow its user base, developing MYOB software for the U.S. market.
“Our chief focus is the continued support of our MYOB customers. It’s important that our customers understand that, from their perspective, nothing changes.” said Tom Nash, Acclivity Managing Partner, in a statement.
Acclivity’s growth strategy includes both development and strategic partnerships.
