Maxon has announced the release of universal binary update for Cinema 4D, its 3D animation software for Mac OS X. The update is free for registered users of Cinema 4D R9.5x, and can be downloaded from the Maxon Web site.
“In general, an Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz iMac renders over twice as fast as an iMac G5 with 2.1 GHz,” said the company in a statement announcing the universal binary version’s release.
Cinema 4D features tools to create 3D images and animations, and has a modular architecture that enables you to add new capabilities like advanced rendering, hair, smoke, fire and dust special effects, network rendering and more.
