Macworld Podcast #27: MacMania Cruise
It’s a first for the Macworld Podcast—an episode recorded entirely while floating in the waters of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico. MacMania IV has set sail, bringing together folks who are passionate about the Mac for a week of tips, advice, and the occasional sight-seeing expedition.
I’m joined by two members of the MacMania faculty in this podcast episode— Macworld Senior Editor Christopher Breen and Andy Ihnatko, a frequent contributor to Macworld and a Chicago Sun-Times columnist. We talk about the cruise itself, the itinerary you can expect on a Geek Cruise, and the strange thrill of offering troubleshooting advice in the middle of the ocean. Andy also talks about podcasting, including his own DVD-review podcast.

Chris has filed a pair of dispatches from the boat—one on jury-rigging a nightlight out of a very popular Apple product and the other on overcoming assorted e-mail difficulties when you’re on the road. Andy mentions Ricky Gervais’ podcast, which you’ll find here.
