Worldlabel releases SVG Document Templates 1.0

Worldlabel has released SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) Document Templates 1.0, a set of documents that include CD, DVD, address and round label templates.

The documents can be opened and edited in graphic programs that support SVG for designing labels, according to the company. Applications that support SVG include InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop CorelDraw and QuarkExpress.

There are also several open source alternates that can be installed on Mac OSX like GIMP, W3C Amaya and Skedsa.

Worldlabel said they have plans to release more label sizes and intends to release templates for standard print media like business cards, flyers, brochures, post cards, media jewel cases and envelopes.
