Ontrack Data Recovery has added more Macintosh-specific data recovery options to its services, the company announced Tuesday.

Ontrack is now able to attempt data recovery from HFS, HFS+, HFSX, UFS and Intel Mac file systems. The company saw a 17 percent uptick in Mac recovers in 2005 — it helped film production companies, movie and TV studios and colleges and universities around the country get data back.
Ontrack offers both in-lab and remote on-site repairs.
