Yojimbo organizer adds Copy Link Item command, more

BBEdit maker Bare Bones Software has updated their information organizer Yojimbo to version 1.2. The new release is a free update for registered users and can be downloaded from the Web site now. Yojimbo costs $39 and requires Mac OS X v10.4.3 or later.

Yojimbo store wildly disparate data types such as text notes, passwords, Web bookmarks, serial numbers, PDFs and Web archives. It features copy and paste and drag and drop support, a Quick Input panel, search and retrieval, Spotlight support and optional AES-256-based encryption.

New features in this release include a new “Copy Link Item” command that enables you to place links to Yojimbo items in other applications, like iCal, for example. Also new in this release is a pair of bookmarklets that lets you archive pages or bookmark them with one click. Upgrades and refinements to existing features have been made, and fixes have been applied to reported issues.
