Sandvox adds Format menu, more

Karelia Software has released Sandvox 1.0.2, an update to its Mac OS X Web site creation software. A free update for registered users, Sandvox 1.0.2 costs $39 or $69 for a Pro version.

Sandvox is a visual Web page editor that lets you drag and drop content and create thematically consistent Web site in minutes. It’s good for blogging, podcasting, photo sharing and more. The Pro version features raw HTML editing support and other capabilities.

The new Format menu replaces the Style menu; it allows you to arbitrarily change font and alignment for selected text. You can now turn off Autosave. A new application preference can keep a backup of open site documents. A number of bug fixes and feature enhancements have also been made — release notes have been posted online.
