My Dream App first round voting ends tonight

Phill Ryu’s My Dream App competition hit a milestone this week as the list of 2,700 entries was whittled down to 24 finalists. Judged by well-known Macintosh developers, entries to the competition must be good ideas, but they almost must be viable applications. The first round of reader voting ends tonight at 11:59 pm ET — the six finalists with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated from the competition.

judges including Wil Shipley (Delicious Library), Nicholas Jitkoff (Quicksilver), David Watanabe (Acquisition, NewsFire), Allan Odgaard (TextMate), Cabel Sasser (Panic), Brent Simmons (NetNewsWire), Ken Case (OmniGroup) and Gus Mueller (VoodooPad), are contributing their thoughts to a blog to give voters their view on the contest and application ideas.

My Dream App is also giving away Pzizz to each voter this week. You can register and vote for your favorite application at the My Dream App Web site.
