Winter Wolves Studio has announced the release of a Universal binary version of its game The Goalkeeper, in which you get to play a full career as a pro soccer goalie. A free update for registered users, The Goalkeeper costs $19.95.
You can play in six European leagues, including Italy, Spain, England, France, Germany and The Netherlands — more than 150 teams are represented, and in the full release you can change teams and leagues.
The game features an Arcade Mode in which you can play the match itself; Strategy Mode lets you select your save style for each shot. You can also train, observe statistics, talk with your coach, examine team goals, injuries, substitutions and more.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later, a 450MHz or faster CPU, 256MB RAM and OpenGL graphics with at least 16MB of VRAM.
