Aperture update improves contact sheet printing

Apple has released Aperture 1.5.2, an update to its photo management software for professional digital photographers. The update is free for registered users and measures 131MB.

The update addresses reliability and performance issues in the software, according to Apple. A number of areas have been improved, including:

  • Contact sheet printing
  • Smart Albums
  • Watermarks
  • Lift and stamp
  • Image export
  • Versions created using an external editor
  • Apple recommends the update for all Aperture users. It requires Mac OS X v10.4.8 or later.

Apple also strongly recommends installing its Digital Camera RAW Support Update, available in separate downloads for PowerPC and Intel-based Mac users, if you have not done so already.
