Apple posts security update for Mac OS X v10.3.9

Apple on Tuesday released Security Update 2007-003, aimed at both Mac OS X v10.3.9 and Mac OS X Server v10.3.9. The updates are available for download from Apple’s Web site.

The updates address security issues associated with the following components of Mac OS X v10.3.9:

  • ColorSync
  • CoreGraphics
  • Crash Reporter
  • cups
  • Directory Services
  • DiskImages Framework
  • Flash Player Plug-in
  • Foundation
  • gnutar
  • OpenSSH
  • Print Center
  • QuickDraw
  • servermgrd
  • sudo
  • More detailed information about what’s changed in this release is available online.

    These updates have also been incorporated into the Mac OS X v10.4.9 release.
